This year’s edition features more than 15 local and visiting artists from around the globe and presents the AZ premiere of LUZ: a flamenco project honoring mothers who live and work as artists.

Luz features American flamenco dancer, Mele Martinez (Tucson), choreography by awarding-winning artist, Fanny Ara (St. Jean de Luz), and features the talents of flamenco musicians: singer Jose Cortes (Marseille, France), guitarist Andres Vadin (Havana, Cuba), percussionist Diego “El Negro” Alvarez (Caracas, Venezuela), and pianist Gonzalo Grau (Caracas, Venezuela).
